In business there are four main in using the internet for business activities. There will be the business research, procurement, communication and promotion. I'll start with the business research.
Business Research
Business research is doing any type of research in order to improve the business performances. Every business doing business research is mainly because, to compete with the competitor and try to gain more profit after the research.
Doing the secondary research
Secondary research is a research where the business doing the research on the internet in giving peoples questions survey and etc.

Communication
In this part, this is where the business use internet as platform of communication for the business and the customers. This is because the internet can be access by everyone depends on the intention of the customer.
For examples, in my previous blog, adidas posting their new products in their websites. So it can help the potential customers for their decision making.
Procurement
Procurement is a purchasing process that controls quantity,
quality, sourcing and timing to ensure the best possible total cost of
ownership.
This business activities is the agreement between the supplier in buying the products that can be done online.
Promotions
This is the main business activities where its all about the timing and marketing strategies by the business.
Like the Hari Raya promotion and Happy New Year sales that posted in the internet.
